As the longest running noontime show in Philippine Television celebrates its 38th year on the airwaves, Eat Bulaga aired teasers leading to the official launch last July 2017. Viewers almost have no idea what the surprise would be. It was until July 22, when the show launched the first ever prestigious beauty pageant, that is distinctively different from any other beauty pageants in the country. Move over, Binibining Pilipinas, here comes "Miss Millennial Philippines"!

Miss Millennial Philippines is not just a simple beauty pageant. It is a different kind of pageant where 38 beautiful, talented and smart candidates from around the country gather to promote Philippine tourism. (Photo courtesy of Eat Bulaga Facebook page)
Miss Millennial Philippines is not just an ordinary beauty pageant (like Miss Universe, Miss World, or any other beauty pageant). It is a different kind of pageant wherein 38 beautiful, talented and smart girls from different parts of the country converge for a gargantuan purpose: to promote Philippine tourism and explore the beauty and wonders the country has blessed us with natural resources, heritage sites, and awe-inspiring tourist attractions. The said contest aims the 38 candidates to compete for the title of the first ever "Miss Millennial Philippines."

The beauty pageant was launched during the July 22 episode of Eat Bulaga. All the 38 beautiful contestants were also introduced to the audience the following week, which is July 29, as these girls showcase the beauty of the Philippines. During the daily segments of Eat Bulaga's weekday edition (usually before All for Juan, Juan for All segment), each of the contestants will be interviewed by some of the hosts and ask some questions about where the contestant's neck of the woods is about as well as tourist attractions, delicious food and exciting sights the Philippines has to offer. Not only that, she also introduces the video presentation about her province. During Saturdays, the five Miss Millennial Philippines hopefuls of the week join with another featured Miss Millennial hopeful for the day.

One of these 38 contestants will emerge at the end of the competition as the new Miss Millennial Philippines, wherein she will take home the most coveted title, Php 500,000, a Bria Homes Condo Unit, and the new 2017 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. Aside from that, one of these contestants who will be declared as the BAYANIHAN QUEEN will be Php 100,000 richer. In addition, the chosen project in her province or city will receive Php 1,000,000 cash support.

You can now support for your favourite Miss Millennial Candidates by following her official social media pages posted in this photo gallery. The voting period for this competition will be announced by Eat Bulaga during the course of this period.
