Today's Food for Thought (September 2, 2017)

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart. Live with the questions and have a continuous dialogue with life. Believe not that you have all the answers, or you stop exploring and knowing and discovering life. And even if you have the answer but the question was wrong, all that the universe will give you are secrets. When confounded and impatient for an answer, be still. In that quiet space is God. When you ask Him the right question, He gives the right answer. His answer generates insights for better understanding; frees you from worries and doubts; gives a sense of joy and passion; challenges and inspires and hints of something better that calls to action and new beginnings. His answer empowers and takes you into the deeper meaning of life.

Thank you for life, and all the little ups and downs that make it worth living. Our heavenly Father understands our disappointment, suffering, pain, fear, and doubt. He is always there to encourage our hearts and help us understand that He's sufficient for all of our needs. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue. Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking. What I've come to know is that in life, it's not always the questions we ask, but rather our ability to hear the answers that truly enriches our understanding. Never, never stop learning. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power. When trials come we get sore and ask: "Lord, why me?" But when blessings pour, we never ask: "Lord, why me?: This time, let us learn to say: "Thank you, Lord, it's me."
