Today's Food for Thought (September 5, 2017)

"A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives." - Jackie Robinson (Praradomo)
Nothing is worth spending a lifetime doing things that will never satisfy your soul. Wealth, fame, accolades, are always never enough, always leave one wanting for more. Seek significance – it counts and outlasts. Significance is when you positively change the life of another and that person changes the life of another, who impacts the life of another, who influences another. For no matter your absence, that significance will still be yours. And when you count on God and include Him in your life, you will have enough, you will not go wanting. He counts a lot.

Life is not about meeting people, it's touching people's lives. If I can stop one heart from breaking I shall not live in vain. If I can ease one life from aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain. What matters really is not the years in your life, but the life in your years, that's what really matters. When you share the goodness in your heart, you always end up a winner because "Life is an echo". It gives back what you have given. Learn to embrace the simplicity of life. Learn to be satisfied with what is enough for you and desire more for heavenly reward. God always repays caring acts. It may not be with money or goods, but most often, He repays with happiness, health, success and love.
