Today's Food for Thought (September 7, 2017)

"The best view comes after the hardest climb." (Praradomo)
You've experienced the depth of cold from painful emotions. You've shivered in their grip. But within you is an invincible summer that will eventually bring those painful emotions out of the cold darkness and into the heat of your light that shines bright and melts away pains' grip on you. The turning point comes at the moment of some crisis, through which you are introduced to your ‘other self.’ Hold on. Overcome. Trust God when He says. 'Do not go around, over, or under the crisis in your life. Go through it and I’ll be with you.

Faith teaches us to believe no matter what situation we're having right now. Hold on, be strong, don't give up. God works in ways we cannot see. The heart that has a firm faith is not frightened by obstacles because it knows well that God's love does not abandon those who trust in Him. Crises refine life. In them you discover what you are capable of. Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong. Great works are performed, not by strength, but perseverance. Real peace cannot be found outside ourselves but within and with God.
