Today's Food for Thought (September 11, 2017)

I prefer living in COLOR. - David Hockney
You hold the palette; you are the paintbrush. Be mindful – color your world beautiful. You can go deep, you can go bold, or you can just splash all the colors out and see what you can create. When what comes out are disappointing blacks and melancholy blues, refresh the setting. Start fresh layers of new colors and work through the darkness with consistent focus. Completing a beautiful piece with such beautiful hues takes time. Be patient and just keep coloring and creating. That is how God is working on you. He patiently waits the splendorous display of colors of His masterpiece – YOU.

The best and most beautiful things in life cannot be seen, not touched, but are felt in the heart. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. If we're willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door. I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon. Expand and dream the most beautiful colors that give meaning to your weary life. Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting. But what is beautiful is a joy for all seasons, a possession for all eternity.
