Today's Food for Thought (September 18, 2017)

Your best teacher is your last mistake. - Ralph Nader
Mistakes are unavoidable. Be not too afraid of them that they freeze you to do what needs to be done. Own your mistakes and befriend them. Learn and find strength in them. What you consider as mistakes are the inevitable accompaniment of the greatest gift God has given you – your freedom of action. Be glad of the dignity of your privilege to make mistakes, glad of the wisdom that enables you to recognize them. Find beauty and significance in second chances and rebounds. For God does not look upon the mistakes you do. He uses your mistakes to empower and produce growth in you.

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently. All the adversity I've had in my life, has strengthened me. You may not realize it when it happens. Strive not just to survive, but struggle to succeed triumphantly. Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your path for you. It is your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you. Life continues whatever happens. All we need is to be positive and be brave with all the challenges we encounter. Faith in God is the best armor.
