Today's Food for Thought (September 30, 2017)

There is virtue in work. There is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither. - Alan Cohen
No matter if you're moving fast enough during the week, take a break and slow down for a day. Unwind and wind down. Catch your breath and take a load off. Day and night, morning and evening, light and darkness, are rhythms meant to break time. They are meant to invite you to not only work and produce but to rest and sleep. God loves you enough to make rest a commandment – to keep Sabbath. He calls you to receive this essential gift of rest – it is a holy thing. Remember He didn't do it all in one day. He stopped, took a break, and rested. You'll be doing His work when you do the work that isn't work. When not doing is the way to get things done.

Thank you for the life, and all the little ups and downs that make it worth living.Take life one day at a time. It's not how fast we move nor how long we live. It 's how we cherish every moment of having a beautiful life, not perfect but happy. When you learn to take life as it comes, it usually comes the way you wish it. Life is too precious to be wasted away. Every man has only one life to be enjoyed in a lifetime. The shortest way to do many things is to do only one thing at a time. Run if you like. but try to keep your breath; work like a man, but don't be worked to death. Rest if you have time and enjoy.Men do not break down from overwork, but from worry and dissipation.
